Argentina Election Upset and Altman out at OpenAI
Alright we wanted to post our trackers for our subscribers and comment on the recent Argentinian Election where Libertarian candidate Javier Milei upset Sergio Massa. We aren’t sure how this will go but from the sound bites and pics we have seen, as well as the recent Tucker Carlson interview, we welcome this change for Argentina. We have never understood the constant hyperinflation that has plagued the area, and any change to combat this should be welcomed by the people. The one picture that encapsulates what we see in Milei is this one here:
It will be interesting to see how his de-dollarizing and budget slashing campaign will go and if Bitcoin is in the future for Argentina. Maybe he can issue some 10Y and 30Y notes and buy Bitcoin!
The other big news over the weekend was the ousting of ChatGPT CEO Sam Altman fired by OpenAI citing that the boards “no longer confident in his ability to lead OpenAI.” We believe there is way more to this story, in fact after Altman went in front of Congress ChatGPT definitely made some changes and if we noticed, others certainly did as well. So this story is continuing to develop and for now Microsoft is trading down in after hours:
Ok lets look at a few technical charts for the week. The Nasdaq futures have had a really good run and seem to be in a consolidative state. We like the long side against 15500 but a trade below there may open the door to further selling. As long as the market holds this area, bulls will remain in control:
