FED H4 Shows Another $75B Drop
Factors Supplying Reserves Falls Again
The weekly Federal Reserve H4 Report is out and it sees another drop in total assets and even bigger drop in the Factors Supplying Reserves. We have a graphic here that displays this and we are interested to see how these facilities have fared over the last few weeks. Of note the Central Bank Liquidity Swaps coincides with the weakening US Dollar lately as this facility has like it has in the past, bought all the levered risk takers some time. Seems as if time has caught up to reality for them and alleviated some of the liquidity pressures seen during the peak of the Covid outbreak.
