Metals Shine
The markets all seemed to be in a fun bullish mode today across the markets that we follow. Most notably and what has now become a reoccurring theme is that any time the Metals complex shows weakness, it is scooped up with significant fervor and today was no exception.
Gold was up over $40 and Silver up over $1.50. The Equity complex wasn’t going to be outdone as the Nasdaq was trading +155 ticks or 1.5% today. FX was higher across the board as the US Dollar continues to remain weak. In the Energies, Crude and RBOB markets were up with the RBOB leading the way up over 2.3% today. The Fixed Income sector was up as well as the front end was stronger led by the belly of the curve and then the Ultra long end gains were slowly eroded all afternoon.
