The metals have been the clear dollar devaluation flipside of QE winner here the last few months as Silver exploded again today and was the days big winner. Silver put in a high in the Sept. contract up at $29.20 settling the 4pm close around $29 +7.88%. Gold also had a stellar day reaching up near $2082 on the highs. So the devaluation and metals shortage seems to continue and the moves have been steadfast. Let’s look at how metals have played catchup to the outperformance of the Fixed Income (bonds) sector this year:
