Today’s action in equity land continues to see a reversal of last years tech dominance. Why wouldn’t some of the big dogs pull some profits, makes sense right? We think so too and given the backdrop both monetarily as well as geopolitically, we believe this is the most prudent thing to do. Too much too fast does come to mind and the investors memories are generally short lived, so we wouldn’t be surprised at a brief relief rally. 4275 held again today in the SP500 and that is a good sign that those that have had to sell panicked and sold. Those remaining will try to do so in calm fashion and take advantage of the market consolidation. However if leverage gets unwound somewhere else in the world, expect spill over here, because there are so many positions all the same way [Tech longs and Short Puts] This is what we would commonly refer to as a Texas Hedge! Why not the Federal Reserve has had the markets back for so long…
