Why work when you can Print?
I don't think any professional manager or trader was shocked by the announcement by Draghi and the ECB. The ECB decided to extend and pretend, go further down the negative rate rabbit hole and increase its QE to $1.056 Trillon dollars per year. If the drumbeat to eliminate cash starts to beat a little bit louder in the coming months, it's because the only tool left to thwart these central banks other than gold, is cash itself. Cash is the last bastion of freedom from the tyranny of these insane policies that are undermining actual organic economic growth and hindering any possibility of rational finance to return.
The BOJ also prints around $848 Billion per year. So combined these two central banks will print nearly $2 Trillion dollars a year. They will print to keep the ponzi going, to keep the banks from being exposed as the toxic dump of fraud they all are and to keep the masses subdued and subjected to endless higher costs and lower wages. These numbers should alarm even the faintest of counterfeiting hearts. I mean let's call QE (quantitative easing) for what it really is, it's government sanctioned counterfeiting. Now counterfeiting is defined as "made in imitation so as to be passed off fraudulently or deceptively as genuine. (dictionary.com) QE in all forms is an "imitation" of capital. It's not real capital, because it was not earned by any labor or productive resource, it was simply brought into existence via an electronic addition of a "zero" to the central bank's account. This capital was not the fruit of any labor, nor the compensation of a productive business. This is why I choose to use the word counterfeit.
The general public should be outraged, because in plain terms, the financial banking cartels of central banks "private companies by the way," are seemingly running hog wild printing as much as they like and in return, buying up private assets. (another reason I call QE counterfeiting) Why this hasn't set off alarm bells around the world, especially the Germans, who have seen their share of hyperinflation, is beyond me. The general populace, I am quite sure if they understood the ramifications of these actions would start burning down these institutions by morning. It is a disgrace that we allow such action in the name of "saving the world," or so Time magazine put it when they put the 3 stooges on a cover some years ago. I mean is humanity lost its mind? Does nobody realize that productive labor is no match for money printing? At what time is the general populace going to wake up and realize that everything you have come to know about finance, about hard work, is basically all a sham. Why work when you can print capital? This seems to be the Keynesian motto, the motto of the likes of Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton, and its caught the attention of many, yet the allure is just a façade, a farce, a dream land or should I say nightmare. Printing money has never led to prosperity, if it was that easy, Japan and Zimbabwe would have been at the top of the prosperity list. This is a call to action for my fellow humans out there that work and strive each day just to make a living. You are being told a lie, you are being told hard work pays off. I am here to tell you that in a world by which power is granted to a very few to control the very thing that EVERYONE uses to survive, you are being scammed. Madoff has nothing on the central banks, this is the largest Ponzi scheme ever to be created and the creature from Jekyll Island continues to grow and grow unabated.
Where this all leads, I can't say for sure, but one thing I can say is that the collapse of civil society grows more and more with each dollar, Yen, Euro that they print, this I am quite sure of. In the end we have a choice, to sit idly by and do nothing, or at least provoke the conversation and inspire thinking that at least starts to ask some very serious questions. I went to listen to a FED governor speak yesterday at a prestigious university and you know what I found out, I found out that some very intelligent people can truly be quite honestly in some respects so very stupid and naïve. For what most of these astute intelligent academics gain in knowledge they certainly lack in common sense, that is quite obvious. Some look up to these cartel bankers as Gods and they may very well be, for it seems like they sure try to play God, bestowing their unrelenting will and surely masking their mysticism. One thing he said I wasn't shocked at, was the fact that FED meetings were scripted that they the (fed presidents) didn't really have much of a say. This didn't shock me at all, for the puppet masters lie deep seated enthralled behind the curtain, deciding the fate of not only trillions of dollars, but billions of lives as well.
